What are the pre packaged candy products? According to the latest revised and released Food Production License Classification Catalogue (2020 edition) by the State Administration for Market Regulation, candy products include candies, chocolates and chocolate products, cocoa butter substitute chocolates and cocoa butter substitute chocolate products, and jellies.
1. What is candy?
Candy: Solid, semi-solid, or liquid sweet food made mainly from sugar, syrup, or sweeteners through relevant processes.
1) Hard candy: A hard, brittle solid candy made primarily from sugar, syrup, or sweeteners, processed through relevant techniques.
2) Milk candy: a candy made primarily from sugar, syrup, sweeteners, dairy products, etc., with a milky aroma.
3) Filled candy: a candy made by using a sugar body as the outer shell and other ingredients as the filling core through relevant processes.
4) Crisp candy: a loose and crispy candy made mainly from sugar, syrup, sweeteners, crushed nuts (or sauce), etc.
5) Caramel candy: a candy with a burnt aroma made from sugar, syrup, sweeteners, fats, dairy products, and other ingredients through relevant processes.
6) Aerated candy: A candy made primarily from sugar, syrup, or sweeteners, and processed through relevant techniques to create a dispersed and fine bubble inside.
7) Gel candy: It is made of sugar or syrup or sweetener, edible gum (or starch), etc. as the main raw materials, and has elasticity and chewiness through relevant processes.
8) Chewing gum candy: a chewing or blowing candy made mainly from sugar, syrup, sweeteners, gum, and other ingredients through relevant processes.
9) Tablet candy: A solid candy made from sugar, syrup (powder), or sweeteners as the main raw materials, through mixing, granulation, compression molding, and other related processes.
10) Liquid candy: A liquid candy made primarily from sugar, syrup, or sweeteners through processes such as boiling, filling, and sterilization.
